Welcome to the online application center for YWAM Maui.

We are so glad to have your interest in a school or seminar with us, however, before you begin filling out an online application there are a couple steps we need to go through. Each school or seminar has its own application requirements. For example, a complete DTS application consists of 3 reference forms, while a Reformation Generation seminar only requires 1. It is very important that you understand the requirements of the particular program you intend to apply for. Here is a list of the different requirements for each of our programs.

DTS: Application fee of 70.00 USD, Application (online or paper), recent passport-style photo, Pastor reference form, Friend reference form, Employer reference form, signed financial form, signed medical form and passport form. All of these pieces must be received in order for YWAM Maui to begin processing your application. Once YWAM Maui has received all of your application forms expect up to 2 weeks for us to prayerfully consider your acceptance. All of the forms necessary for each school are available online, you can print them out from the FORMS link under the CONTACT US tab. Each program is listed at the top of the chart with the required forms listed below. We recomend printing all of these forms immediatly after submitting your online application, this way your references can get their forms filled out and sent in as quickly as possible. YWAM Maui also recomends paying the registration fee for your program immediately after your application has been submitted. This fee covers our processing costs, and without it YWAM Maui cannon begin processing your application. This fee can also be payed online by clicking the application fees link under the contact us tab.

Waiver of Liability & Release

I further promise to agree to indemnify, defend, and forever hold harmless YWAM, it's staff, agents, employees and representatives against all claims, actions, cross-claims, or third party claims arising from or in any manner related to YWAM - whether such actions are brought by third-party claims arising from or in any manner related to YWAM - or whether such actions are brought by third parties or anyone acting on behalf of myself.

In the event that YWAM files any action to enforce the provisions, releases and covenants of this agreement, YWAM shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney's fee and costs of such enforcement proceeding.

I agree to adhere to and abide by all the guidelines and rules of the YWAM Maui DTS program. This agreement applies to my time during the lecture phase, in Maui, and during outreach, including my stay in other countries.

I understand that the outreach portion of the DTS program is a privilege, and not guaranteed. If the leadership of the DTS have prayerfully deemed that I am not ready or suitable to do missions work in a given outreach location, I agree to not go with the rest of the team on outreach representing YWAM. I will trust the DTS leadership's decision and adhere to that decision.

I understand that all the money pais toward the outreach will be refunded, minus money already spent on preparation of the outreach at the time of the DTS leadership's decision not to send me on outreach. Such non-refundable costs include visa application and shipping fees, pre-outreach costs (including costs associated with the Acts program), airline ticket cancellation fees, and non-refundable airline ticket costs.

Quality of work: We need people who will do their best at whatever job they are assigned. As a YWAM community, we need everyone to be good stewards of community property, taking care of things as if it were personally their own.

Housekeeping: Each person is expected to maintain their living space neatly, so that community housing is kept looking nice and not offensive to others.

Attitude: A good attitude is essential to working and living in a community setting. We expect each person to have a teachable attitude so that we can all learn and grow together in the Lord. A loyal and submissive attitude towards those in authority is also important.

Quiet Times: Our personal relationship with Jesus Christ must remain the most important thing in our lives, if our work here is to be successful. Therefore, we expect each person to maintain the daily discipline of seeking God and making the quiet devotional times a priority. As a YWAM community, our daily rising time is 7am to help people have alone time with the Lord before the day begins.

Excellence: We at YWAM Maui are committed to excellence and we want people who are serious about serving God. We strive towards excellence in our work, our relationships, and in our personal lives.

Dress: Each person will be sensitive to his or her wardrobe and attire while here on the base. It is essential that you recognize how you dress reflects your respect for those around you.

This will help determine which program or team yoiu will be place, and it does not influence your acceptance to the DTS program.
