Surfers Discipleship Training School (DTS)
Our surfers DTS is a 6 month school designed to disciple surfers to follow God and release them to impact the world. The school has two phases: Lecture Phase and Outreach Phase.
During Lecture Phase you will spend twelve weeks on Maui. The focus will be on growing in your personal relationship with Jesus and gaining knowledge of the world around us to better equip you to reach the lost. Through this time there will be an empahasis on worship, teaching, prayer, evangelism, and service.
After Lecture Phase, you will enter the Outreach Phase which is a mission trip to an Asian country (and world class surfing destination) such as Indonesia, the Phillipines, and Japan. During Outreach Phase you will get a taste of world missions and gain ministry experience through a variety of ministries such as; friendship evangelism, leading bible studies, teaching basic christianity, preaching, and reaching out to the global surfing community.

Local Ministry
The vision for our local ministry is to serve with the local churches and community. We are practically coordinating our efforts to share the gospel through friendship evangelism and service by hosting BBQ's, surf movie nights, bible studies, and beach clean ups.
Boomerang Mission Trips
This ministry is for SFMI participants who have completed a DTS. A boomerang mission trip is a short term mission trip for those who have a desire to return to an outreach location and are approved to continue in ministry. It can also serve as a launching pad to pioneer a ministry through SFMI.
